Ping is a norwegian band that could be friends of Zappa, Ween and Mr.Bungle. As they describe themselves on last.fm: "Ping combines elements of Rock, Electro, Jazz & Metal, together with humour and a fragrance of old cheese, to create music best fitted for erotic cartoons.
In other words; slightly sane music for slightly insane people, made by mainstream nutcases."

Anyway, they decided to make their old material available for download without restrictions, and they will release new songs on a monthly basis. As one band member said: - We realized we spent too much time on business-related activites when making and releasing albums. Now we'll have more time to make music. It also fits our creative process, we are more focused on each song rather than the album-format. And we think we will reach more people this way.

Not being exactly radio-friendly, Motorpsycho's latest effort consist of four tracks ranging from 11 to 21 minutes in length. While this might not get them any airplay, old men in old magazines writes nice things about them.

Motorpsycho is on a USA visit and will be playing at Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus OH on June 20th. Terrastock Festival, Louiseville Kentucky on the 21st and finally, on the 22nd., at the Empty Bottle in Chicago. Go and see Scandinavias best liveband (TRBNGR being 2nd) if you got the chance.

This is  'Little lucid dreams (a suite)', 1st track on 'Little Lucid Moments'. It's a 21 minutes long ...eeh.. suite. I had to lower the bitrate to get under the 15MB limit.
