Well here's something funny for you... I travelled half way around the world to see Xavier Rudd, when hes from just around the corner...lol.. Okay Xavier wasnt the only reason I went (and yes he (my bb) was worth every bum numbing minute on that plane!!!!!!...lol), but seeing him at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland was one of the highlights without a doubt... He has this amazing ability to engage with each and every person at his gigs... and I found myself tran... MORE
Just caught Xavier's show again for the 3rd time and it was just as I'd hoped. Even the most uninhibited concert goer is prone to dancing and letting this Australian artist's influence take over and possess him like none other. He has recently, in his last couple of EP's, added a drummer to bring his Aussie Roots music a more contemporary/pop appeal to it but in no way has he lost his edge .. in fact he has only enhanced it in my mind. If you have never heard or seen... MORE

His following is particularly strong in Australia and in Canada, where he has recorded several albums. Many of Rudd's so... MORE

Featuring a myriad of illustrious and exotic instruments (all in which he has mastered during his solo live performances), mundaneness is no where to be found on ... MORELinks:

Read about the amazing story on Cryptomundo . Crew would take plaster casts of the prints, the first such casts which help to prove the existence of the creature, first named at this event as B... So totally nice and talented (and hot!) if his song Better People is any indication. I mean, what lovely lyrics! So positive and unpreachy! I really hope that he's sincere about this and I'm not missing some deeply ironic and cynical undertone. He's Australian. Are Aussie's cynical? Based on his video he's completely sincere and I love him even more. Can you tell I am an elementary school teacher? I think I am going to teach my students this song. Secretly without telling...
