The guys rustled up all the YouTube stars from the last year and threw them in the video. The Chocolate Rain guy, the "leave britney alone" guy, the clumsy ninja, the coke-and-mentos guys, and more. The only internet phenomenons that seem to be missing are "2 girls 1 cup" and pedobear. Check it out....

Weezer's new album is on the way. It's called Weezer, just like two of their other albums, but this time the cover is red. Check out the first single, "Port And Beans."

By now most people have heard that Weezer's sixth album will be the band's third self-titled effort in it's history. Like the previous self-titled albums, which have taken to the color scheme (i.e. The Blue Album, The Green Album), this one will definitely be referred to as The Red Album, according to the band. The band's rhythm guitarist Brian Bell is back at work with his other band, The Relationship. New members have been added and the band is recording new material. Sure Weezer has been hootenanny-ing it up across the US, spreading music like they did during the days of the Orgon Trail and all, but now the band will finally head out on a tour like its 2008. Back in March Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo took to the Internet in hopes of recording a new tune. Cuomo's plan: create a song generated by fan input via YouTube video responses. Starting the project off Cuomo's shed some knowledge like there are "99 ways to write a song," (and the bitch ain't one?) and that he wanted the tune to be "fun, poppy and tough at the same time."

Crunchy guitars, rap lyrics, and hymns are just are a few of things that make this album great, but more than anything we’re just happy to have Weezer back. The radio-ready Port-And-Beans seems designed to lull us into Weezer's increasingly fuzzy sweater-embrace - more Sugar Ray than El Scorcho. But then, what to make of this bizarre mash-up of Quaker Hymn (Gift To Be Simple), Quasi-rap, and stomp rock? It's strange...and almost ALMOST trancends it's own novelty.
