I was one of the few that thought Pop was underrated. Yes, it has its flaws. Over produced, rushed released but some of the songs are some of U2's best. I also admit that I wasn't a fan of the studio version of Staring at the Sun. It sounded like U2 trying to do Oasis. But this acoustic version is a classic. By stripping the song of it's excess gloss you can hear the beauty in the lyrics. I love Edge's acousting picking. Also, I'm a sucker for crowd singin... MORE
Thank God that U2 is re-issuing its first three albums because I just knew that there was something truly important -- and not at all annoying -- missing from my life.

JACKSONVILLE - Bo Diddley, a founding father of rock 'n' roll whose distinctive "shave and a haircut, two bits" rhythm and innovative guitar effects inspired legions of other musicians, died Monday after months of ill health. He was 79.

The legendary Irish rockers stage "The Fly" Live in Chicago in 2007. I saw U2 live in St. Louis in 2006. Priceless.
