I first heard this remix from a Trentemoller's DJ set. A pretty good mix of the classic Doors track, done in a sorta breaks fashion. Those of you who are into remixes & stuff ought to check this out...

This is how it began my devotion to The Doors with my 7 inch vinyl single of Light My Fire. It was the most beloved piece of wax that I had in my collection as a child. There was no other single that I coveted more than that single. I played that single over and over so much, to just, transcribe the lyrics. Just a few words before this plays.... I'm not what you'd call a Doors fan.  It's not like I have anything against them.... it's just that I feel that Morrison's been idolized a bit too much.  But then something comes along to drive a nail through that theory.  Here's Morrison at his best: strange, shy, charismatic, outgoing, prophetic.....
