So at my job, I sell tickets. When I make a reservation, I take the customer's address and phone number.
One day, several years ago, I took a reservation for a woman whose phone number happened to be 853-5937. On this particular day, the little voice in my head that stops me from saying stupid things must have gone out for coffee, because suddenly I was telling the woman, "Hey! Your phone number is a song!"
Now I'm betting y'all can guess the response I got. "Um... MORE
There's not a lot of Squeeze on Mog. Like others, I've never been what you'd call a fan. But I've always quite liked them. Not sure why people are so lukewarm about them. But I guess they are quite low key and generally un-popstar-ish,

Chris Difford and Glen Tillbrook made impeccable pop music with Squeeze. I always enjoyed them back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Really tight tunes with a great pop sensibility. Pulling Muscles From A Shell, Another Nail In My Heart, Tempted, Black Coffee in Bed. They had a string of really, really great tunes.
