New Ryan Adams & The Cardinals song Fix It from Cardinology, just in time for the weekend. A taster to hold you over til the album's release on Oct. 28th. Ryan & The Cardinals are back on tour opening for Oasis again. Coming soon to an arena near you.
I never ever get to see any of the latest Letterman performances until they are months, seasons old... (unless fellow MOGGERS are kind enough to share them, which they do)..
Due to copyright and caveats on outside US streaming, unless they are posted on youtube I never get to see them at all...
So I am a happy little vegemite today to see this, only days later...
Oh yeah...
New Ryan Adams & the Cardinals album, Cardinology, due Oct 28th. Here's hoping Ryan makes it back to L.A. so I can take Michelle to go see Adams and his Cardinals in concert.
For now enjoy this sweet acoustic version of Desire.
Ryan Adams is on a roll - at least, as far as I’m concerned. The straight-to-the-heart Easy Tiger album that he released a few months back has become the most played Adams item in my library. It’s certainly my favorite at the moment. And now, he’s turned around and issued a seven-song EP, Follow the Lights, that is absolutely in the same rarified league as Easy Tiger, emphasizing the latter’s country-folk side while taking a couple of side trips into contemplative confessi... I went to see Ryan Adams with a friend last night.
My friend happened to be at my workplace three days ago and asked me if I was going to the Ryan Adams show in Memphis. I had no idea he was coming that close and was actually a little dismayed because I had been checking his site for tour dates somewhat regularly. I quickly went to the Germantown Performing Arts Center's website to see if I could get tickets, only to find out they had been sold out for weeks. So, I checked... MORE

...I don't really care that half of the material I post about on MOG is based around Ryan Adams. I really don't. Hit or miss, love him or hate him, adore or loathe him, the man is just otherworldly. And Brickbat, I'll agree with you (finally and reluctantly)that the man does indeed look good in a pair of Levi's. I'm more than a bit jealous. On to my point.... Meet Chad Tasky. Among dozens of other things, Chad has been the drum-tech for Brad Pemberton of the Cardinals f... MORE
Ryan Adams and the Cardinals. Henry Rollins Show. "What Sin Replaces Love". A WELL SPENT 9 minutes. Enjoy.
I don't think I've mogged about my Ryan Adams thing, really. It began with falling hard for his album Cold Roses, my second-favorite double album next to Exile on Main Street. From there it moved on to a full-blown musical crush. My next favorite Ryan is Gold, then Heartbreaker, then Jacksonville City Nights. He's an odd bird, if you don't know that; wacky, prolific, insanely talented, known as "difficult," puts tons and tons of bad hip-hop up on his website under the pse... MORE
