As an old and long-term Oasis fan (that sounds like I have a disease of some sort, but I don't! ;P ), I have used many positive adjectives to characterize their music down the years. "Sexy" was never one of them. Their music just didn't work for me that way. TILL NOW. Push the fiery red button, and tell me I'm wrong. I dare you, I double dare you! Seems karma came a knockin' for Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher. Last night Gallagher, who infamously bashed Jay-Z's headlining spot on this year's Glastonbury bill, was knocked to the ground mid-performance by a fan during the band's headlining set at the Toronto V Festival on Toronto Island Park. Absolutely Hilarious.
I wonder if Noel Gallagher is going to be a good sport about this and get a kick out of it like everyone else. He's previously said Glastonbury isn't a place for rap music, so why not give the fans something a little diffferent right?

Noel Gallagher is still mending from being shoved into his monitor by a crazed 47-year old fan. (Do we still call him a fan?) His bruising to the rib and hip, and now what Gallagher is calling a tickle in his hands has postponed following gigs in London, Ontario and tonight’s gig at New York's Terminal 5.

It has Sergeant Pepper-esque cover art, Marc Bolan-like swagger on opening cut "Bag It Up", and a flood of press and curiosity rolling with it all the way to the record shops. Noel Gallagher's so bruised from being shoved by a crazy fan the other night that Oasis have postponed their concert tonight in London, Ontario. The crazy fan was 47-year-old Daniel Sullivan from Pickering, Ontario. Sullivan spent the night in jail and was charged with assault. He's due in court October 24th.
