On April 28, Tipitina's will host its annual Instruments A' Comin benefit. One of my desert island disks is Little Feat's Waiting for Columbus, which was recorded live at the Rainbow Theatre in London and Lisner Auditorium in Washington, DC. Part of what makes that a desert island disk is the inclusion of the Tower of Power horns. On the break for Dixie Chicken, for example, the horns break into a little dixieland jazz before the song returns to the second verse.
