so i ran across this band through my girlffriend she was actually the one that attended the concert in Austin Tx. at Stubbs i heard them after wards and i love their style choice of tunes and the lyrics jump out and reach my heart and i feel their energy through my ears as it travels through my entire body and inner soul...... Their music is difficult to classify, but has fittingly been described as "electro-dance soul rock." According to the band's Myspace.com page, they describe their sound as "A robot making love to a tree!!" Check out this fun listen while you enjoy a nice red delicious.

So my mp3 player crashed and I lost 75% of my music. I am trying to get back what I can. But on a side note, music has been totally frustrating lately. I'm not finding anything that just blows me away. I'm beginning to listen to...(gulp) talk radio!!! AHHHHH! I have begun listening to some of my older tracks that I had a chance to back on CD. Don't know how many of you already know Ghostland Observatory. I've been listening to them on kexp for some time now and I love the band. First song I heard was Sad Sad City........great track. Couldn't find a mp3 of that so instead I'll post an equally great song.....PIANO MAN. This calls for dancing and calling in sick tomorrow.

How many times are you walking through downtown of Anycity, USA and you just need a rockin' good time to roll out to? Pop those buds in your ears and jam to some Ghostland Observatory and tune in and turn out. I've left my late night physics class on many occasion and while walking the streets to the hospital Sad Sad City just blares. ghostland observatory should be the biggest band out of austin right now. their live shows are amazing. i couldn't find any video to do them justice, but a friend shot the first one at a wedding a while back down in tejas. the second is from a KEXP event. the sound is crap on both so you need to just go and buy their cds. trust me. ha.... MORE

Walking across the feild to the at&t blue room to see "I love you but I've chosen darkness", I stop in my tracks behind a crowd, and a glorious sound. My eyes meet the stage with a rather androgenous character, a subject my husband, and I debated, during the next song pause. I proclaimed male"triumphantly" right I was. Look at the photo there was some room for confusion, from where we were standing in the back at least. Delightedly I can say this is my next cd purchase!! ... MORE
