i'm starting anew this year. i've got a brand new job that i'm mad crazy excited about, i've got a new(-ish) place to live, and i'm determined to have a better 2008 than 2007 (which shouldn't be too hard, seeing as 2007 has been one of the worst years of my life...well, at least in the top 5...).

So, I'm sure you've seen the same thing I have. Everyone throwing lyrics out there that they feel best represent their feelings about the New Year. And of New Year songs the two most likely choices are probably The New Year by Death Cab for Cutie and New Year's Day by U2. Both excellent songs. I have sinned deeply. I haven't MOGged in... 31 days. Officially. However, it's the season of giving and a year of new beginnings, so I have hope that you'll all forgive me.
