This was probably one of the saddest live performances I've ever seen. Amy mumbled, bumbled, and stumbled around near the front row of the crowd. Yesterday as I was sharing Amy Winehouse's latest predicament (that the singer has emphysema) with the MOG world two things came across my mind. 1) How the hell does a 24 year-old get emphysema? To me, it's really interesting how we let what we see on the media so severely shape our opinions and thoughts on particular subjects. As train wrecks go, she's certainly on the fast track in someone's death pool, but what if, just what if you let the music stand on it's own and you judge objectively? While Amy Winehouse might not like the idea of being immortalized in wax, her parents seem to be lingering to whatever last glimpse of a sane daughter they can get.
