Loyal Divide's "Labrador EP" Demands to Be Listened To
On the band's MySpace page , the Loyal Divide casually lists off its influences as consisting of Brian Eno, My Bloody Valentine, Talk Talk, and DJ Shadow. This clip is from another underexposed artist, DJ Bat. It comes in slow with a simple, chill-inducing, choral intro. Just as you get memorized by the fitting combo of piano & bells, he drops a 10-ton riff, and takes the kick drum out of it's cage.
