Death Cab came home sweet home for our yearly festival (Bumbershoot) and played live...(Props to their opening act Super Chunk, also a good band) i've been a death cab fan for about 5 years now (the ultimate death cab fan at that) and i've never seen them live. They did an hour and a half long set but we asked for an encore and we got it! They are amazing live & it was even better to see them in their hometown, Seattle. I cried when they came out & Ben Gibbard is an incredible singer live, he loves the audience!! I crowd surfed during "The Sound Of Settling" (played during the encore) & i couldnt've done anything better..The mosh pit went crazing during "Crooked Teeth". I was one of the only person who sang every single song in their set...They come back & play in Seattle November 4,2008 and i will make sure to be there...Make sure to go pick up their latest album Narrow Stairs, in my oppinon it isn't as good as Plans but still a great CD...If you like Death Cab and haven't seen them live put it on your calender to go, it's a must see concert for death cab fans all around the world..I couldn't ask for a better way to end my summer...

Hey there fellow DCFC fan(atic)..wish I could have been there. All reports from sources that attended said it was fantastic.
Just a correction. They aren't coming to Seattle on the 4th of Nov. I know there was a misprint about bheir Neil Young show in WA, but they are to be in KC, MO that night. Sorry to be the barer of bad news.
