Sure, he's engaged and she's reportedly seeing someone. They call themselves friends and a "2 person social group"....please! Anyone can clearly see there is something more going on between the two! Perhaps it IS simply musical creativity flowing from their hearts...but DAMN...I'm thinking they are totally hot for each other! Especially after watching last nights episode of "Live at Abbey Road". The show features artists and bands you can get "up close & mu... MORE

I've been waiting for this ever since I first heard about the show from Diablo Cody herself back in April at a speaking event I posted about here. Showtime's debut episode of the Cody-scripted and Spielberg-produced series, The United States of Tara, is now up for viewing on Sho.com .
One of my favorites, Toni Collette, stars as Tara Gregor, a wife and mother of two teens, who just happens to suffer from multiple personality disorder. In this episode you also get... MORE

Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl. (That's him there) Not only did Gossip Girl win six Teen Choice Awards, but now the show's villain has smitten my girl crush. This all according to OK Magazine. Alison Mosshart and Westwick were reportedly galavating around Chicago following the Kills Friday Lollapalooza set before the teen hunk had to fly out for the LA awards show. (I was there but didn't see the couple anywhere). Interesting.
There's only one person that could unhook me from The Last Shadow Puppets' album {at least for a while}, and that person is Dale.... I kinda always liked The Kills, but I was always far away from liking them a lot. After listening to their new album, Midnight Boom, I'm there. Sexually charged and musically contagious, it's been on repeat since yesterday (sorry, monsieur Turner). My only thought now is if they can get these vibes going when they perform live as well. Ca... An end to the one of the most bizarre stories from the road. Grunge-punk duo the Kills have found their tourbus which went missing last week following their gig at the Austin City Limits music festival. The band, who'd been on tour with the Raconteurs for the later part of the summer, announced via their Web site that "OUR BUS DRIVER IS MISSING AND/OR HURT/DEAD/or A THIEF. OUR BUS HAS DISAPPEARED" on September 30th, two days following their ACL gig. The driver supposed... MORE
If there was one album this past year I was inspired to get because it received great reviews across the board...it was the Kills' Midnight Boom. If there was one album I thought I got my money's worth on it would be Kanye West's Graduation with the Kills' Midnight Boom in a close second. So here's a video for the track Last Day Of Magic off the highly-regarded Midnight Boom. In the video The Kills' Alison "VV" Mosshart and guitarist Jamie "Hotel" Hince beat the shitz ou... MORE

No, not that Beguiled featuring a Marble-Faunesque Clint Eastwood in a film full of juicy gothicky weirdness, but by a kooky, clever, sometimes hilarious little blog called This Recording. I won't do them justice with my own description but leave them to it... "THIS RECORDING...is dedicated to the enjoyment of audio and visual stimuli...Please visit our archives where we have uncovered the true importance of nearly everything." I found this gem of a tune by The Kill... MORE
