If this is the first time you’re hearing Ghostland Observatory’s music, believe me, it’s not gonna be the last. Ghostland Observatory is one of those rare bands who breaks onto the scene with such an intensity and such a ferocity, that you’re drawn to the music. Ghostland Observatory is the brainchild of Aaron Behrens… The James Brown dancin’, high-energy singin’, guitar playin’ maniac… And Thomas Turner, “The Wizard of the Synths,” and the drum master that will keep your feet moving all set long.

When I first met Thomas and Aaron at Lollapalooza, I said to ‘em, “You guys did a disservice to the festival!” They both looked at me like, ‘What the hell you talking about?’ “You guys set the bar so damn high, that the rest of the bands are going to have a problem trying to reach that height!” And if you were there at Lollapalooza on that Friday afternoon, you know exactly what I’m talking about. There is no doubt to the contagiousness of Ghostland’s energy. Aaron wasn’t the only one on stage dancing crazy… The whole crowd was into it! No one could stand still! “The Wizard” back there was in his cape, droppin’ down all the great beats… Playin’ the drums… It was a sight to be seen. I will definitely go on record right now and say that Ghostland Observatory had one of the best sets of Lollapalooza’s weekend.

If you haven’t checked out Delete…Delete…I Eat Meat or Paparazzi Lightning… Make sure you go out and buy their albums, ’cause you will not be disappointed. And as they said in the interview, look for a new album late this year or early next year. If there is one band that you gotta see at Vegoose, or any other festival… It’s definitely… Ghostland Observatory.
