Many of you are aware and diggin on the legendary soul vocalist Howard Tate. . .
this track slays me - better to just listen then me write some blah blah blah. he's super tasty and technically amazing...basically a BAD ASS soul singer - maybe the best ever - I know you can dig it.
listening to this track may make you think of lowell george era little feat's grooves/arrangements . . if you can, just listen to the band and arrangement without Howard: presto chango . . . Little Feat w/TOP horns in the rehearsal studio just before the "waiting for columbus" tour. Bill Payne couldn't make the rehearsal. ....time to hit a waffle house... where's my biscuits and gravy? yes ma'am I'll take more coffee.
