Hey, this is my first visit to mog for quite a while, since the middle of May in fact. There has been various factors as to why I have been away. I notice some people have gone, especially flower power, which has made me a little sad. Well, last time I was here, I was about to go and see Modest Mouse, so I have decided to post a track by their support band The Crimea, who were pretty good and not helped by the poor sound, you could hardly hear the vocals! Anyway, their album is availble to download from their website www.thecrimea.net for free

So, hopefully I will be back on here more often and hooking up with past moggers and meeting some new ones!

Ahhh, she's not gone. Just re-signed as FlowerPower333. You'll find her there. Next incarnation: FlowerPower666, followed shortly by Armageddon.

Yeah, so I gave the whole point of this post away in the title. But who cares. I am going to see Modest Mouse a week on Monday and I am excited!

And I am sure that every Modest Mouse song has been posted on here before, but who cares!

You know something that has annoyed me recently. I saw someone on here mention a site run by ebay called half.com..esentially cheap cds...now who doesn't like that....anyway....because I am from the UK I cannot use it, and man it would come in handy. I shall explain why...

Just over 10 years ago, I loved the Eels and I thought Beautiful Freak was such a great album...I still do to be honest. Then Electro-Shock Blues came out, and although it took me a little longer to get into, I loved that album too. Then...for no reason whatsoever...I lost total interest in Eels and never picked up another album again. That was untill one day last September when I was visiting the record store I used to run and noticed they had the recently released Live: With Strings album in their sale..it was cheap so I went for it. Not only is it a great live album, but it has also made me question why I shunned this band in the first place...and to be honest I had no reason.

So recently I have made it my job to track down all the albums I miseed and get them as cheap as possible (so far having picked up Dasies and Souljacker for less than £5...which is $10 for my american friends out there)

So two more to go (three if you include the Oh What A Beautiful Morning live album, which was a limited edition)

So I will keep plugging away at ebay and the like to pick up the remaining albums!

So here is a nice Eels track from the Live: With Strings album since it helped me get back in to them in a big way

By the way, if anyone knows why as a UK resident I cannot use Half.com please let me know. I have asked the question with them, but as yet no response!!

I'm from the USA and getting Japanese imports of albums (Iron and Wine + extra tracks) is a pain. I'm in need of novacaine.

Five-four: I used to work at Tower Records here in the UK and imports were not really a problem....but this half.com thing is annoying me...I mean if I can order off ebay why cannot I not order from a site run by ebay...meh to it!

Oceanrain....its certainly strange why I lost track of them, maybe it was when I went through my teenage punk years, and I think to fully appreciate them you need to have quite a mature taste in music perhaps...I don't know!

Thank you both for your comments!!!
