It's 11:45 p.m. here on the left coast & I have 15 mins. left of my 2 year mogiversary! Glad I remembered, but it's a little late. Oh well. I thought for sure someone posted this vid recently but I can't for the life of me recall who & a search finds that there's no artist lounge or posts about this band Apple Jelly here on mog. They released their second album 'Nanana Club' over a year ago on 1/1/08(2007 in Europe). I also don't recall how I came across their myspace page either. That month of mog posting I did left me with this discovery but I can't recall from whence they came(where I found out about them)! Check out the vid for their song 'Radio':
I love the vid, it reminds me of the low tech methods used in Michel Gondry's movies('Be Kind, Rewind', 'The Science Of Sleep', 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind'). And the music is really upbeat & danceable, with definite '80s influences abounding(like Depeche Mode, Missing Persons, etc.). You can play spot the influences quite easily with this French group. I'm surprised no one has mogged about them.
They released an ep 'Radio B92' in 2000 & debut album 'Home' back in '03 but I don't know much about either. You can hear tracks from both here:

Well here it is NYE and I've survived doing a months worth of posts . I still can't believe I did it! There were a few times when I was totally at a loss for what to post about but when push came to shove I found something to mog about. It's amazing what you can do when you make a commitment to doing something. Never thought I'd mog for a full month, but really glad I did it. I hope I have inspired others to mog more & take back mog!
Really glad to see '08 go. It's not been the best year for me. I've been dealing with mysterious health issues that Drs. have not been able to figure out. Other than going to Coachella Festival back at the end of April & mogging, it's been a pretty lame ass year for me personally. My best friend came down with lymphomic cancer & has been very sick. So I'm quite happy to let this year go.
One of the things I'm proud of this year is being the inspiration for Annieander(http://mog.com/annieander) to make a song of her own(Hit the red button if you will). It's really cool to be someone's muse! And the result turned out really great. In fact I wish she would do more since I love this song! It's in regular rotation on my Windows Media Player on my puter.
So here's to a fantastic '09 to all you wonderful moggers!

AHA! I knew I'd seen it on another moggers post somewhere. Thanks for coming forth Scot. It's weird that when I used the search feature nothing came up. Did you purchase that track 'The Punk' or was it a free download? They are a mysterious bunch aren't they? If I could speak french I could read their myspace blogs though. C'est la vie. . . .
