Remember me? ;) I am back! Hope you all had a great holiday. I missed you loads! Happy New Year!
These past two weeks consisted of family time, eating candy, playing around with my cat, getting intoxicated, dealing with posse drama, visiting friends, and, the happiness of doing nothing! For some time now, my hair has been really really dark brown (almost black) with a tiny hint of red. Considering that I've been blonde almost all my life, you can see how I did an excellent job inshocking everybody back home. mwuhahahah!
For the first time I snobbed a show (Puresence) because I couldn't bring myself to pay 30 euros for it when I pay like 10 quid here. And also for the first time got a taste of what it's like to have your life teared up in two different countries.
On MOG news, Neill gets the prize for the most manipulative Secret Santa of the year. Some time ago, we were chatting and he told me that he got someone he wasn't keen on. A week after that, he sent me a card to wish me happy holidays. He utterly disoriented me and made me into his elf puppet (or something like that). On January 2nd, I received a package from him....2 more CDs! Lost Treasures of Joy Division and the second part of my Pre-81 Xmas CD (featuringPIL, The Beat, X-Ray Spex, The Boomtown Rats, The Jam, The Stranglers, Petula Clark, The Raincoats, XTC, and many more!). The CD label of the mix CD was Jesus holding Carling beer again, and that's only when I figured it out! Thanks again, Neill, and I think it's safe to say that you took the game to another level. I'm going to inflict severe psychological violence to my 'victim' next year ;)
I promise to deliver my top 10 albums list and my concert diary for December soon.

Time for me to go back home for the holidays! I terminated my internet connection there before I left, so I won't have internet access, although I'll try to pop in when I have the chance {so watch your backs! mwuahahah!}. I'll be back on January 7th. Till then, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year. May your holidays be very cozy, passionate, and heart-warming. Go ahead and be naughty if you want to, Santa has already made his lists for the year, so you're in the clear ;)

Hey Anna, my trouble is I'm on both Santa's lists. I will be flying out of the UK myself. We managed to miss the snow, down south, at the start of the month. But I am off to Nova Scotia, tomorrow where is could get pretty grim and frostbitten. Excellent! I can just picture myself standing in a snow drenched wood somewhere adopting the 'crab' hands held outstretched. 'Quick dar, get the camara my Blashyrkh are freezing'.

Anna, it was not I, but your enthusiam & delight put a smile on my face this Sunday A.M. & I just wanted to say hi, and wish you a Merry Christmas. I'll never forget that you were the second MOG to "trust" me & how you almost got angry at my suspicion & cynicism. So Merry Christmas Baby, and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Welcome back. You didn't miss much..well there was the continuation of the post a day thing (I know Grron and August made it to the end), a bit of a slow down around the 25th..I think because of heavy Chanukah visiting. Also, I discovered a rare Placebo recording, which I will post. I was waiting for you to come back.
